Katie interest in wellness began with learning how to fuel her body for dance performance. She received a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University with a double major in Biological Sciences and Dance. Katie then left her post-college career in professional dance to achieve a Masters of Science in Nutrition and Public Health from Teachers College, Columbia University, where she also completed her dietetic internship, gaining valuable experience in eating disorders and disordered eating, gastrointestinal disorders, and pediatrics.
Katie worked as a dietitian in residential and PHP/IOP eating disorder treatment programs for Monte Nido & Affiliates for 2 years before moving on to focus on private practice.
Katie has instructed dance and movement for over 10 years with numerous certifications and trainings in various movement modalities, including Yoga, Barre, and Strength.
